neptune-product-1.pngWhy spend all that time and effort researching multiple products when you can order a Neptune Apex and call it done? This incredible controller system for your saltwater aquarium handles everything for you while allowing you to customize it to your specific needs.

If wired internet isn’t an option for you, we have good news. Neptune Systems has developed a WiFi connection in this amazing saltwater aquarium accessory that rivals even the best wired system. It not only connects seamlessly to your home internet equipment but also allows you to get your cloud-based app up and running in minutes!

Let’s take a look at some of the major benefits of the Neptune Apex Controller System.

Setup Is Easy

It’s just five simple steps to set up your Neptune Apex and control all vital aspects of your saltwater tank.

  • Mount the power unity

  • Plug in all probes

  • Connect it to your home internet via ethernet connection or Wifi

  • Use the control panel to run the Configuration Wizards

  • Use the app and connect it to your smartphone or tablet

Perhaps the best part is that you can continue to control your tank even if the internet or power is down. While other panels require the use of the app, you’ll be able to keep your tank running as it should via the built-in control panel.

eb832-w-callouts.pngThe Ultimate Power Control Hub

The Neptune Apex has a total of thirteen power connections for all of your aquarium accessories, all of which are relay switched. This includes:

  • eight 120 volt AC outlets (rated for millions of cycles)

  • three 1LINK 24VDC outlets for devices such as WAV, DOS, etc.

  • two Switchable 24VDC outlets for additional accessories

The Neptune Apex also includes a cover making it much more difficult for water to enter the outlets.

Power Monitoring

Complex power monitoring used to be reserved for multi-thousand dollar units. Neptune has now made this available in the Apex. Why is this important? The better you monitor the flow of power, the less electricity you use. This is beneficial to not only your bank account but also to the environment. Reduce your carbon footprint with the Apex!

You can monitor these with the LEDs that correspond to each outlet. This allows you to see when each outlet is properly providing energy and will blink rapidly if what you’ve plugged into it exceed the capability of that particular outlet.

Alarms Based On Power

After you set up the app, the Energy Bar 832 can use power usage monitoring as a way to tell you if something is wrong. If the pump is plugged in and not using power, you’ll get an alert telling you something is wrong so that you can take actions to fix it.

probes-included.pngMonitoring Probes Are Included

Like we said before, why put everything together piecemeal? The Neptune Apex is one-stop-shopping for your aquarium monitoring. It includes probes for salinity, temperature, pH,  and ORP. These last two probes are double-junction, meaning that they have a longer lifespan and hold their calibration longer.
